Kurrenti was a discussion programme presented by Fr Charles Tabone dealing with various (sometimes controversial) issues of a socio-religious nature. Each programme would present the issue with the use of drama produced in-house, prior to the programme recording. Experts in the field would then discuss issues raised during the story.

The opening made use of footage from the previous year’s programme coupled with chrome-keyed footage of the presenter to link the clips in a more visually engaging manner. The theme of coloured polygonal shapes utilised in the programme set was reflected in the styling of the opening sequence. The background music was also composed by Media Centre.
